Susan Sikora has more than 25 years’ experience in healthcare public relations and communications. In 2008, she founded Conduit Health Communications, LLC, and serves as a consultant and chief strategist while overseeing a constantly growing network of healthcare communications freelancers.
As an executive-level communicator for PR agencies, multinational corporations and nonprofit organizations, she developed award-winning national and global product communications and disease awareness programs across a wide range of therapy areas.
While Susan has special expertise in neuroscience, she has managed many high-profile projects in the areas of rare disorders, oncology, infectious disease, genetics, nutrition, dermatology, cardiology and respiratory illness. She has launched multi-year and multi-layer campaigns supporting new products, indications and line extensions for several blockbuster medicines, and helped establish important benefits in the marketplace of mature products facing generic competition. Additionally, Susan has done extensive work for healthcare technology and diagnostic companies.
Susan is passionate about creating opportunities for mutually beneficial alliances among industry, advocacy, and the healthcare community. She has fostered many relationships among these groups to advance patient care and scientific discovery.
